The Situation: Alright. You and team no sleep, your rave crew, are beyond stoked to get into EDC 2028 Atlanta. You head out in the afternoon, hit the local Vons for some vapo rub, grapefruit juice (real juice none of that purple drank), chapstick, and 14 different flavors of gum. From there it’s off to the venue.
Like 3 people are there when you arrive so you get priority parking all the way up at the entrance of the event.
Fast forward 18 hours — faces have been melted, ears are ringing, and it’s time to head back to the Best Western.
Jakes on you, sport. You’re in for the most non-PLUR experience of your life fighting your way out of the parking lot.
The Tip: The biggest mistake you made is thinking that parking close to the event is the way to go. Wrong. So wrong.
If you’re trying to make a timely exit from a venue trying to evacuate tens of thousands of people, you want to be at the front of the line, right? It only makes sense then that you park at the very back of the parking lot, as close to the exit as possible. This way you don’t have to traverse a sea of out-of-it ravers and will hit the highway safely and in style.
The Pro-Tip: Carpool and save the earth and stuff.
